We need an ambitious Finance & Administration Manager committed to delivering the best possible outcomes. The post holder will be passionate about strong financial management and as .a key member of the Tanzania and Uganda senior management team will help to drive both our financial and our wider strategy there. The post holder will also be responsible for IT, HR & office administration.
We are looking for a strong qualified, finance, with proven experience in financial control and management (minimum of five years). You should be comfortable with project accounting & reporting, producing statutory accounts and managing the budgeting process. You will have some familiarity with SUNv5 and QuickBooks accounting package.
You will be clear on the need for control and compliance, as well as the importance of the finance and non finance teams understanding what the numbers mean. You will identify and seek to resolve the diverse financial issues that can arise within a complex, grant funded programme. You will have strong people management skills and be eager to help build the capacities of others within your team. You will have demonstrable experience of successfully balancing a number of competing priorities. You will recognise the importance of frequent communication with all your stakeholders throughout the programme and the wider Farm Africa organisation.
The role will entail frequent travel within Tanzania and Uganda, occasionally to other countries where Farm Africa operates.
This is a competitive national package based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with no relocation offered.
