PROJECT: Associate Donor Relationship Officer
TITLE: Consulting Services - Associate Donor Relationship Officer
NOTICE:
Request for Expressions of Interest
The African Development Bank now invites Individual Consultants to express their interest for the Associate Donor Relationship Officer position.
The services included under this assignment are:
The Associate Donor Relationship Officer will be part of the Donor Coordination Team and will report to the Donor Relationship Officer.
Specifically, his/her functions and responsibilities are:
• Assist in the management of Donor Working Groups as well as in creating and developing new Donor Working Groups;
• Assist in the organization and draft of relevant documents of Donor Working Groups and MFW4A Governing Bodies’ meetings, and monitor follow up actions;
• Assist in the organization of Donor workshops and similar events;
• Assist in organizing the MFW4 X-Country initiatives;
• Assist in organizing FSD dialogue events to engage with donors on the ground;
• Assist in managing the MFW4A budget and other financial management administrative issues;
• Undertake desk research and follow-ups when appropriate and recommended by supervisors; and
• Perform any other duties as requested by supervisors.
The Making Finance Work for Africa Partnership invites Individual Consultants to submit their interest in providing the services described above. Interested Individual Consultants must provide information on their capacity and experience indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (Resume, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.).
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants”, for projects financed under the African Development Bank window, May 2008 edition, revised in July 2012 which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. The Bank is under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest.
The duration of the mission is estimated at 6 months (renewable upon successful completion of the assigned tasks) and the commencement date is planned for January 2014.
