Description:
Role Purpose: Programme Officer for Health Systems Strengthening in Lindi will be in charge of implementation of programme work and advocacy towards health facilities and districts as well as capacity building of health workers. This position will work in collaboration with Community Mobilisation Officer. The key purpose of this post is to work directly with the regional "and district authorities and health facilities in 2 project districts in Lindi, focusing on strengthening the key components of health service provision, in order to set in place necessary mechanisms for health system strengthening. He/She will work on strengthening capacities of health workers in management and supervision of Maternal and Newborn Child Health (MNCH) services in respective districts. In collaboration with Community Mobilisation Officer, Programme Officer will also work on increasing the demand side and uptake of the essential services and empowering communities to realise their rights to accessible and quality MNCH care. Ensuring proper monitoring and documentation of the project activities is essential part of this position.
Qualification:
Qualified and experienced candidate required.
