Position: National Financial Management and Procurement Expert

Description:
The Private Forestry Programme is implemented bt a Consortium formed by Indufor Oy and Niras Finland. The programme will start its operations in January 2014 and is looking for a competent National Financial Management and Procurement Expert to complement the technical assistance team
Qualification:
Qualifications and Capabilities:
• At least B.Sc
in Accounting , Economics, Financial Administration or related field and experience in financial administration and management.
• Experience in financial management of international projects.
• Fluency in spoken and written Kiswahili and English Languages.
• Ability to write reports for management.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in working with financing mechanisms relevant to the proposed tree growing incentive schemes (eg
Agricultural or rural development small grants programmes).,

Duty station: Iringa , Mufindi or Njombe district (to be confirmed).
Duration: Initially 2 years (21 working months), to be extended to 4 years with proven performance. The position includes plenty of overnight travel in basic village accommodation.
