The Manyara Regional CSO’s network is a membership and registered coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSO’s) that operates in Manyara Region that have dedicated themselves to have undertaking various initiatives to enhance lobbying and advocacy towards poverty eradication and sustainable human development. It draws its members from NGO's, CBO's, FBO's and trade Unions who are operating in the Region.
Being established in April 2005, the coalition has its main objective as members’ capacity building, policy advocacy and enhancement of Good Governance for sustainable human development at the District, Regional and National level. MACSNET envision strong and vibrant development actors which are able to provide high quality and sustainable community development services in Manyara Region.
In collaboration with members, MACSNET is expecting to coordinate the implementation of the Nutrition project targeting at improving nutritional status of children and pregnant and lactating women in Hanang’ District in order to decrease maternal anemia and child stunting in the targeted area. Therefore, to achieve that the organization is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated person to take up the Nutritionist position withthe following qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor in Human nutrition from any recognized and reputable institution.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
- At least 2 years experience in community facilitation on nutrition or health issues.
- Highly integrity and moral character.
- Ability to work with a minimum supervision.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the management of projects financed by donors;
- Competent in computer programs and internet services.
NB: The selected candidate will be required to stay in the project implementation area in Hanang’ district headquarters in Manyara region.
