General Manager, Seed Enterprise

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Lead the production, processing and marketing team of the seed enterprises.  Ensure overall planning, budgeting and implementing the operations of seed enterprises.  Help marketing team to assess market demand, prepare marketing strategy and ensue demand based production.  Ensure planning and distribution of oversees seed requirements.  Analyze sales trends and ensure increase market share.  Prepare and update periodic progress reports and business promotional materials.  Maintain relationship with different stakeholders both internal and external.  Ensure smooth and timely furnish of all deliverables.

Educational Requirements:

Must have MS in Agriculture or any other discipline from any reputed university with minimum two first class/ division/ CGPA 3.00 in all academic examination. Candidates having MBA degree will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum ten (10) years experience in sales and marketing of which at least five (05) years of progressively practical experience in Seed business which includes planning, organizing, leading and controlling of entire seed enterprise operation (production, process and marketing).

Additional Job Requirements:

Good communication skills, teamwork and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and multicultural issues.  Strong oral and written communication skill in English is mandatory.  Passionate about their field, resilient and willing to undertake challenges.  Must have good knowledge of MS Office.
