Sendwell Courier Express is a Tanzanian based courier and logistics firm with more than 12 years of experience in the industry providing total courier and logistical solutions for a wide range of clientele within Tanzania. The company plans to expand the domain and scope of its service effective from Jan 2014, and therefore looks to add into its human resource, excellent marketing and administrative staff.
1. Administration and Marketing Executive (Position - 2):
Tasks
· Selling products/services to identified clients/prospects
· Monitoring and analysing overall market trends of the courier and logistics industry
· Assessment of competition, opportunities, products and services potential for specific target market
· Exploring ways of improving existing products/services and market them to prospects
· Identifying target markets or clients and developing strategies to communicate and sell products
Personal skills required:
· Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
· An excellent communicator, think creatively and fluent in English language
· Be able to respond well to pressure and meet sales targets
· Be well presented with a professional manner and acquainted with IT/Computer skills
· Be persuasive, diplomatic and with good business awareness
· Be able to work within a budget
· Have drivers’ and/or motorcycle licence
Qualifications:
· At least degree or equivalent Advanced diploma/diploma in Marketing, Business studies, or Social Sciences
· At least 3 years of experience in Marketing activities in reputable organizations
· Good knowledge of Tanzania’s private sector as far as marketing of services is concerned
