Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Co Limited (TIPER) is hospitality storage facility for bulky fuel. The company is undergoing business growth and as we are keeping track on the trend we wish to recruit for the following positions: PUMP MECHANIC The role is responsible for maintaining pumps (various kinds of rotating equipment, which includes centrifugal, axial, and reciprocating compressors, centrifugal pumps, diaphragm and positive displacement pumps and their associated turbine and monitor drives) and pipeline fittings as per API Standards
Qualification:
Responsibilities
• Perform all type of pumps regular services as per preventive maintenance plan repair pumps oil and water.
• Repair and examine pumps for malfunctioning and to locate damage or wear such blowout
• Carryout maintenance of pumps packing, misalignment of pump shaft and slippage of drive belt, worn bearings, or need for lubrication.
• Working and supervising contractors
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Experience and requirements
• FTC- Full Technician Certificate (civil or mechanical)
• Minimum of three years in oil tank farm operation
• Communication skills and fluency in both English and Kiswahili
• Computer literate, knowledge of MS word and excel, MS Project
• Knowledge on pumps types and application, repairs and troubleshooting, installation and critical spare parts management.
• Basic HSSE knowledge will be added advantage
• Age limit below 40 years
