1.0 GEOPHYSICIST II (One Post)

1.1 Principal duties and responsibilities

• Participate in geophysical data acquisition;

• Develops individual objectives/targets and all performance as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate supervisor;

• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

1.2 Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Minimum qualification is Bachelor of Science Geophysics or related fields from a reputable University.

1.3 Competence among others are:-
• Ability to communicate with excellent writing skills;

• Ability to supervise and direct professionals;

• Strong working knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft word, Excel, Publisher, mine and Mineral Exploration programs and geophysical data processing programs such as Geosoft.
